Dr. Singh holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Organic Chemistry, a Master of Business Administration in Management degree, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree.
Prof. Singh has conducted postgraduate research to develop novel products and processes for the pharmaceutical and plastics industries, and has co-authored two published papers in the area of heterocyclic chemistry. He has also conducted research for business consulting and has presented a paper on improving small business efficiency. Prof. Singh has wide experience encompassing the industrial, governmental and educational sectors. He has negotiated complex leaseholds worth in excess $11 million annually, developed master plans, budgets totaling $173 million annually, financial plans to reorganize and merge departments, and new revenue streams, and implemented major contracts and projects.
Prof. Singh has served as an adjunct faculty member, Program Chair, Director of Research, Dean of Business, and Dean of Doctoral Studies.
Prof. Singh has taught classes in numerous areas including Finance, Accounting, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics, Statistics, Research and Chemistry, and capstone courses.
Prof. Singh has developed business and research curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels including capstone and research courses for M.B.A. programs, and curriculum in Business at the doctoral level. He has also chaired numerous master’s theses and doctoral dissertations.
