Maury joins Westcliff after having served as Asst. Dean of Educational Technology at Marymount California University in Palos Verdes for 11 years. He’s been teaching and designing Gen. Ed. and computer classes both live and online on the college level for 24 years. He’s also worked as a corporate trainer, a database administrator, and as a grant-writer/fund-raiser. In the past he’s taught for DeVry, ITT Tech, Westwood College, and LA Mission College. In addition to computers, he often teaches English, Public Speaking, and Art History. He’s a former Theater major with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech/Theatre from Northwestern Univ. in Chicago, an MFA from CalArts in Valencia, CA, and an MISM through Keller Graduate School. He and his wife live in Lomita and they have 14-year-old twin boys, and a 12-year-old daughter. In his spare time he enjoys golf, traveling, and fantasy football. Something unique about him that you’d probably never guess is that he’s been able to visit all 50 states!
