Nima Salami got his bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, the United States, and his doctorate degree (DBA) from Westcliff University, Irvine, The United States. Also, he did part of his studies as a study abroad in Jonkoping International Business School (Sweden), Maastricht University (The Netherlands), and Malmo University (Sweden).
His research papers have been mostly focusing on Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Behavioral Economics, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and effective utilization of Human Creativity and Artificial Intelligence in organizations. Areas such as food industries, product labeling, voting strategies, malevolent and benevolent creativity, and enhancing the productivity of small businesses have been the matter of his publications. Additionally, his works on Organizational Behavior disciplines, in areas such as leadership, authenticity, sexual harassment, and creativity have been presented and/or published in different conferences and journals.
Moreover, he has been an award-winning professor both for his online and on-campus teaching styles before and after the pandemic in keeping students engaged, interested, and active in the class! He has received awards as a publisher, and researcher in business administration, marketing, and as an influencer and conductor in art (music) as well.
At the same time, he has the responsibility of being the CEO of their family business, which has been active in international business and investments in commercial and residential constructions. Moreover, he has the experience to be a conductor, music maker, and art teacher. His guitar orchestra performed for almost eight years in a row, and their last performance, conducted by him, was in 2008. Still, when he is not glued to his desk, he grabs his Spanish handmade guitar, explores old forgotten gypsy rhythms, and Flamenco songs, and loves to jam with his friends, colleagues, and other musicians always.
