Prof. Broding is currently ABD in her educational doctorate program in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leading with an expected graduation date of March 2020; she holds a Master of Art in English degree, a Master of Art in Art History degree, and a Bachelor of Art in Art History degree.
Prof. Broding has conducted graduate research in writing curriculum for women student veterans focusing on their transition from the military to higher education.
Prof. Broding has served and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at community colleges, trade schools, art colleges, and a military education program; she also currently serves as a college writing tutor and served as Program Coordinator of General Education. Prof. Broding has taught classes in art history (global surveys and more focused – Mexican, Asian, American, modern, & contemporary), writing (technical, business/professional, & creative), composition, research as a capstone class, literature, and humanities. Prof. Broding has also developed art history, technical writing, and capstone research curriculum at the undergraduate level.
