Professor Okoth holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education, Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Special Education Certification, and AP College Board Certification in APCSA and APCSP. 

Professor Okoth has been a high school teacher and has taught classes in mathematics, special education and computer science. Professor Okoth has served as an AP Grader for APCSP for CollegeBoard for two years.
