Parijat Kar, MS

Parijat holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in computer science and engineering from Jadavpur University, earned in 2000. Subsequently, he pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in computer science, specializing in AI and mathematics, from the University of Tulsa in 2003. His thesis focused on developing a knowledge-sharing framework using distributed AI and reinforcement learning. Over the years, he has had a dynamic career path, initially applying auction strategies for an airline ticket reseller at HCL Technologies in 2000. He then spent 14 years at Oracle, where he played a pivotal role in the global expansion of Oracle products, with extensive business experiences in Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Australia, Canada, India, China, and many other regions. Following this, Parijat contributed to the growth of Accenture’s business in North America and Europe. In recent years, he has been leading contact centers, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as large language models, vector databases, and retrieval augmented generation for semantic search and recommendation systems. His interests extend to translation and uncovering common poetic contexts in languages like Bengali.
