GRAD NIGHT RECAP 2023
Westcliff University celebrated its inaugural Grad Night this year on Friday, Jun 2, 2023 at Dave & Busters at the Irvine Spectrum. This wonderful event served up food, fun, music, games, photo booth opportunities and a chance for graduating students and alumni to connect, reminisce and gear up for commencement. Alumni and students in attendance had the chance to network and catch up with faculty, staff and each other, making for a heartwarming evening full of Westcliff pride.
Callan Low/ International Transfer student from Scotland/Basketball Athlete: “This was my first time attending a WU Alumni event – it won’t be my last! I enjoyed being able to socialize with the WU staff and fellow alumni. I will definitely encourage my friends to attend because I believe it is a great way to maintain relationships with classmates and WU staff while having a great time.”
Aditya Patil/International Alumni:
“The alumni event allowed me the opportunity to interact with top-notch faculty and industry leaders, as well as create networking opportunities and friendships that will last a lifetime. We had a wonderful time . The event was also a learning experience by connecting with a diverse group of graduates with varied concentrations and understanding different ideas and perspectives ultimately helping to cultivate a culture for positive changes.”
Gianna Guinasso/2023 Valedictorian contender/WU Volleyball Athlete:
“This was my first Westcliff event that I could attend due to being a student athlete/competing in season as well as working full time. I am also very proud of my hard work as I’m striving to be valedictorian so I wanted to treat myself to the hard work I have been doing and celebrate at grad night. I enjoyed seeing the commitment from the university to gather and celebrate us, the services provided have been very helpful and I plan on utilizing career services as I end my educational career and step further into my professional career. Overall I really enjoyed the event! Was able to compete with my peers in a different setting than the classroom, laugh and mingle. Thank you again!”
